This state park has one of the cleanest lakes in the state. There are 3 separate beaches here. 2 for the general public and one for the camping area. The beaches are not very sandy they are more natural. There is a store on site which sells snacks drinks and some hot food. They also rent out kayaks and canoes. This park does not get overly crowded and the middle beach near the store tends to be somewhat quiet. I suggest water shoes if you have tender feet as its a bit pebbly getting in and out of the water. Overall this is a good place to cool off and chill out.
