We spent 10 days touring New England, going through six states, staying in eight motels. This motel was adequate, nothing more. They don't offer breakfast so be prepared to find someplace to eat. The decor was dated but that didn't matter. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, as was the shower.
The only complaint was that the curtains were old and didn't close properly. Also, if you ask for a queen bed rather than fulls (why do places even offer fulls anymore?!) you will have a room closer to the road, not back off the road. That really wasn't a problem for us when we were there but could be if you are a light sleeper in the middle of full tourist season.
I checked all our motels for bed bugs and happily didn't find any.
