Will's Inn
Ranked #4 of 5 Glen B&B and Inns
Reviewed July 24, 2011

We were looking for comfortable, quiet accommodations in the North Conway area that fit within our budget. We were a party of four (myself, husband, brother-in-law, daughter) for the first week and my daughter (15) and I stayed on for a second week. To save money, we wanted kitchen facilities so we wouldn't always have to eat out. I spent hours reviewing cabins, cottages, and motels on the internet. Right off, Will's Inn stood out in that they had pictures of each rental space type. We could see for ourselves exactly what the accommodations were like. They also did a great job of describing their amenities--including a non-chlorinated swimming pool that uses salt in place of chemicals! I've got to say, this pool was a big hit with all of us. No more chlorine fumes, and no need to shower that stuff right out of your hair when you get out. The website also described the owners, Mike and Beverly, their family and background in a way that made us feel like we'd be amongst friends.

When I phoned to make the reservations, Beverly worked hard to meet our needs, fulfilling the impression projected by their website that they are in the business of helping their guests have the most satisfying experience possible. At Will's, their slogan is "The Family Place" and we really found that to be true. My daughter had a wonderful time hanging out with various kids and teens she met at the pool and at the Saco River out back. There's also a nice area to have a campfire and a playground area for the younger ones. My daughter made friends with most of the front desk clerks and some of the cleaning people. We all enjoyed meeting Beverly and Mike, who were personable and welcoming.

There was only one disappointment: one of the beds we had hoped to use was a sleep sofa in the living room. When we opened this out, the mattress was in very bad shape. My husband ended up sleeping on it as a sofa. I'm sure they would have given us a cot if we had asked, but my husband didn't want to bother.

Room Tip: We stayed in the lower level, in the back. Nice and cool there during very hot days.

Our family loved this place. The rooms are very clean and the owners are quite pleasant. The inn offers several options to entertain children and it has a relaxing atmosphere for adults too.

The rooms where great and very clean, the people who run this place are very nice and helpful. The kids loved the grounds from the heated pool to the river out back and the play ground. I have sent several other family's here who where going to storyland and other places around and they said the same thing they love the place. They have rooms for 2 people to houses for a family get together, they have it all. We will be going back in the fall.

Very clean. Outside grounds are beautiful.
Interior is a little dated.
Our room had no bathtub and a very narrow shower.
The room was not large enough for more than 2 people nor would it have been comfortable for a week stay.
Microwave and fridge a plus. No hairdryer in room or soap and/or shampoo. Not an 80.00 dollar a night room
Staff is very pleasant and nice heated pool.
Very lovely location close to area attractions.

Very nice folks who run the place. They made suggestions on where to go and and what to do. We even got a ride with her to a bar one night-- thanks!

The room was comfortable and very convenient. Enjoyed having a kitchen too!

We stayed 2 nights in room #4 It was a huge room with 2 full sized bed and kitchenette. Check in was pleasant, my husband said it was a very nice English lady. The staff/owners? continued to be very nice during our entire stay. Our room was very clean. It wasn't fancy but the set up was perfect for us. We never did get to check out the river out behind the hotel. Unfortunately the weather we had wasn't so great. We went to the Red Parka for dinner (recommended!) and came back and hung out in the room. We borrowed some movies from the office. The beds were more comfortable than the previous 2 hotels we stayed at.
The location is pretty good. Its far enough away from the congested North Conway, but close enough to access it when you want. Across the street is a great Cider place that makes good cider donuts and cider slushies.
We liked Will's a lot-nice staff, very clean, and a warm friendly people. We "WILL" be back!

We stayed two nights at the Will's Inn and was very pleased! Our room was clean and was furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. The owner, Beverly, was most helpful in recommending places to eat and local attractions. The Inn is conveniently located just a short drive to Mt. Washington, Storyland and North Conway. The location was perfect. The price was reasonable. We really felt welcome and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay in New England.
