Have been driving by this place forever and finally had the time to stop. Menu is extensive and I love they strive to be a great source of local foods and sustainable practices. Ordered a variety of food from their menu and everything was tasty and good. Especially enjoyed the nachos and the fish tacos. The only thing that was only so-so was the fried ice cream which was about a half a scoop of ice cream, not really coated well and covered in WAY too much whipped cream. The tortilla it was served in wasn't that great, would rather have skipped it and had a bit more ice cream and a lot less whipped cream. The dinner portions were generous the appetizer portions were good. I felt the menu was a bit pricey but that seems to be the norm for the area between North Conway and Bartlett.
The biggest draw back and the reason I only rate them good is the staff seemed comatose. The hostess was great but our waitress just seemed like she really didn't want to have any sort of conversation with any one in her section. I noticed the other waitress was exactly the same. Perhaps we appeared to not be big spenders? Perhaps they didn't want to work out in the porch area? Children a turn off? Took forever to get our food, and check and another wait for credit card to come back.
I would probably visit again and to see if it were maybe an off night but I have a feeling this is the norm and unless you're a group of hot looking dudes this is how these ladies are. Heard a family in the parking lot complaining of the same thing!
