Owner description: Story Land – where fantasy lives! Story Land is a safe and natural setting where children and their imaginations can run free. We provide a great value to our guests every day, with all-inclusive rides, shows & attractions, reasonably-priced admission ticket, FREE parking, and FREE pet kennels. Featuring birthday parties and character dinners, Story Land is a celebration for the young at heart. This world of fantasy is punctuated by the kaleidoscope of flowers and emerald fields of New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains. Timeless characters like Humpty Dumpty, the Old Woman in the Shoe, the Three Little Pigs, and Peter Rabbit came to life here in 1954.

We found our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren enjoyed the rides and entertainment. The lines for the rides were moving along well except for the old fashion car ride. It is a good time for the cost.

Our four-year old and two-year old had a wonderful time there. We went in September, so it was beautiful and not crowded at all. We went in after 2pm on Saturday, which enabled us to return the next day. On Sunday morning at opening, we had no line whatsoever. We did many rides within an hour. Our advice is to start on the left for younger ones. We had a great time there!
Bathrooms are very convenient and they even have family bathrooms and nursing/napping rooms in the middle of the park. We can not talk about food as we did not eat there. Tips: eat at the Red fox nearby and bring bathing suit and/or extra clothes for rides that involve water. Our kids still talk about storyland, so we will return for sure!

We had a brilliant time with our four-year-old. If you can get a ticket after 3pm and then you go the next day free.
When you turn up the next morning you don't have to queue as you go straight through the entrance for those with annual passes etc.
My advice would be to head to the middle of the park first and go on the Polar Coaster and then the rapids ride and after that the Bamboo Chutes log flume. As long as it is warm you will dry off after the next hour or so. We also enjoyed Flying Fish, Twirling Turtles and the other water areas. You get soaked on the Blast Battle (I think that is the name)
All the rides are great for young children but have enough thrills to not be to tame for them. Our son is still asking when we can go back.
I would take some food of your own as it is all fast food type snacks (burgers, pizzas, fried chicken etc) However one American food we tried and really liked although must be pretty bad for the arteries is fried dough. Yes thats right, only in America they deep fry pizza dough and then cover it with powdered sugar (icing sugar to us Brits).
We had a great time at Story Land, it is refreshingly honest and is not so big that little legs can't get round fairly easily.

This is a great place for toddlers! Brought my 2 little ones and they loved it! Leave early as there's usually traffic around that area. If you're traveling from more than a couple hours away, I would try to book a hotel and spend the weekend there. Book early! There are many boutique hotels but the one most seems to stay at is the Marriott which books up pretty quick.
