I know that Andalgala is a small town with few accommodation options but try to avoid this place. It was recommended by local tourism information center as a high Quality, with breakfast and swimming pool hotel. The cost per night is ARP300 and they accept only cash. The swimming pool is huge but look very unappealing and dirty. It seems that they put more chemicals in the pool and never change the water. The room was also disgusting, in the shower we found 3 old soaps and on the bed old tooth pick. The staff didn't speak English and were rude. For breakfast there were tea or coffee and one bun with very little jam.
But the worst part was the flying huge smelly sort of cockroaches. I guess they are in all the city, but hotel do nothing to prevent you from them. So they get in your room as well and are crawling, making noses etc. If they get in to your stuff, you have to wash everything cause they have this terrible smell.
In general, this hotel is one of the worst places I have ever stayed (and I usually travel on a budget) so try to avoid it.
