If you're looking for frills, this place isn't for you! Very simple room with efficiency kitchen if you want to do some light cooking. We stayed in a one-bedroom and our daughter slept in the living area on a futon. Best three things when considering this property: the cost, the view, the view. Yes, the view of Lake Winnipesaukee was gorgeous and the beach access gives you an opportunity to cool off. We found this on line and was able to book with one day's notice. We met folks who have stayed at this Inn for the past 12 years to one couple who were here for their 40th year in a row. Kathy, the property owner, was very nice and very accommodating. If you needed anything, all you had to do was ask. The rooms are dated but that's one of the points of staying here. Simple describes everything. The only negative was that the temps were in the 90's with high humidity and the unit only has a window A/C unit in the bedroom. They did have a fan to pull air from the bedroom into the other room which helped out a bit. We didn't spend much time in the room, since we came for the lake view and access, so it wasn't too bad once the sun went down. Would definitely return!

Room Tip: Recommend an efficiency unit which is in a separate building from the main Inn.

No frills, the way Cow Hampshire should be... Comfortable, quiet and the most beautiful view of the lake from any town. Couldn't fine nicer innkeepers either.

For bikers, it's just far enough away from the Weirs... We've been staying at Greystone for many years and hope to continue to. Steve & Cheryl, Cape Cod Mass

While this old Inn and Motel is a work in progress, you cannot beat the view, the access and the just plain home feeling. The motel suites are very comfortable and have what you need. It's not luxury but it is very comfortable and a genuinely great spot.

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Greystone Motel. It was really wonderful. The location is great - fairly close to the action areas. The views from the motel were absolutely lovely. Favorite spot was sitting on the porch watching the Mount Washington boat go by. Having the kitchenette was a big help too. The owner is so pleasant and helpful. Great choice.
