“First visit - will be going back!”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Arrived early (5:00 PM) on a Friday evening and the waitress gave us our choice of window tables overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. The duck entree was very good and the roast prime rib was excellent. We noted that reservations were accepted and included reserving a specific table (a great plus for waterfront dining). The restaurant was tastefully done and had a full bar behind closed glass doors (so no bar noise). Boating season is over, but we will be making reservations next year and looking forward to a boat ride over and a great meal. Overall, a very good value for a moderately priced meal.

“Try the duck, you won't be sorry”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

We were at the Lyon's Den on a Wednesday night, after all the summer vacationers left. We walked in with no reservvations, no problem. The roast duck was terrific, the wife's seafood dish was very nice, the service was very good. We will be back again!

“Don't believe good rating'. Worse in 20 yrs.”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

This has to be the worse food and service we have ever had. Waited 25 minutes before order was taken or even bread or drink. The food was inedible. Tablespoons of jar garlic on everything. Left without eating more than 2 bites of the meal.

“Food could be out of this world, never know as parking lot way too small.”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

We tried to go there on Sunday night. The lot is so tiny only holds a dozen or so cars. We couldn't get into the lot so after going around this GIANT parking area right next to the restaurant only to find out that is for residents with stickers only, we gave up.
Sadly we won't try again. Too long a ride from where we stay in NH to risk ending up with no parking area again.
What a waste of our time.
