A very easy and short hike to Artist and Bald mountain. Views were Spectacular! We finished the trail by making a loop followed the trail marker and got off close to Echo lake parking lot. The latter part of the hike was longer and a bit steep.

Honestly I read the reviews about the traffic noise and once we got halfway up the trail the smell of the trees and the random offshoot view spots made it forgettable.. when we got to the actual bluff I was blown away and didn’t even hear the road. I’m sure it was there but my other senses were just reeling in the area. We started in a drizzling rain with cloud cover over the valley, at the bluff it was beautiful and we got snowed on a smidge. Cannot tell you how amazing I thought this was and I know it would not have been quite as vibrant in full sun. It smells like Christmas on this trail because of all the trees ❤️

We did the entire loop here. This 1.4 mile trail takes you to a stunning vista of Echo Lake and the Franconia Notch. Known for a great view of fall foliage, this hike rewards you with great views.

It was a fairly easy hike and the views are amazing! Mother Nature played some tricks on us and there was fog and gale force winds. We still explored and took in the amazing views. On a clear day this would be absolutely breathtaking.

Great easy family hike w/ a great view of the notch. Do a loop with Bald mountain (it's a short mountain, very doable)-- the views are even better. Bring water.

Did this at the end of the bike/walk path from Flume Gorge. Nice view, very steep incline with some rock scrambling. Saw a storm coming in which was cool. Make sure you get to the actual bluff because there's sort of a fake bluff that we first thought was the Artists Bluff.
