I went many years ago. It is one place i really would like to visit again. It's one of the many hidden specical places in the White Mountains

I went there while on a camping trip in September and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The trails were clean and well marked and it was just beautiful.

There was a $30 entry fee and we had a long trip up to the top. Many of us were not up to that kind of travel. Visited in May of 2010.

Walking the trail to the flume was great. It's not difficult, and the scenery is beautiful. The gorge is really impressive. You need to pay to gain access to the trail, but it's worth it. The walk is a loop.

Everything the pamphlet says, "Mother Nature worked a little overtime...New Hampshire's most shining natural wonder will leave you spellbound as you stroll along a two mile, self-guided nature walk past cascading waterfalls, historic covered bridges, glacial boulders and more."
