I certainly liked this Profile Lake. The mountains reflected on this lake, making it quite attractive.

The trees were reflecting perfectly in the water as well. It’s as if there were trees in the lake.

Two kayaks were enjoying exploring the lake.

This is truly beautiful. Enjoy it! Worthwhile to see at all cost!

Another one of New Hampshire's beautiful lake is the Profile Lake. Beautiful any season but would have liked to see some of the fall leaves.

The lake is located at Profile Plaza for the Old Man of the Mountain. It is lovely to see, very peaceful and beautiful. .

The final resting place for New Hampshire's Old Man, this lake has taken on new meaning for residents. Years of freezing water pushed the giant boulders out of place and off the side off the mountain. You can stand according to your height behind silhouettes of the Old Man and imagine he is still there.

People can view Profile Lake several different places. First you need to go south, usually driving, on I-93 near Cannon Mountain. Because we enjoy hiking, we hike in and get several views of the lake. Driving a short way down I-93 from Cannon and another lake, we slow down and look for a sign beside I-93 that's simply labeled "Hiking"; a minute or two later, we park by the end of a lot, find the opening to the trail, and hike in and take some great photos.
