We had a late lunch on our way to magnetic hill in Canada. They have a large menu including moose and elk. Still we both chose the BLT and a cup of chili. They served a bowl--cold. They eventually made it hot.

The BLT bacon was great. Meat comes from a company in Maine. The chili was too salty for me. The spiciest thing was the dill pickle.

We found the menu limited, burgers, hot dogs, pretty plain and basic. Like they have hamburger, cheeseburger, and cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. Nothing fancy or special. The restaurant entrance smelled like the bar downstairs and the table, and s&p shaker were sticky. The ketchup bottle was reused so many times the label was faded and crackled and looked dirty.
The food was not presented well and the buns were stale and the burgers over cooked. The soda was flat.
The waitstaff was slow and only chatted with the locals they know and were very absent at our table.
$30 wasted on lunch, very disappointing meal.

I stopped in on a Monday morning recently for breakfast. I havent eaten pancakes in years, but had a craving for blueberry pancakes. I got a shortstack which was loaded with blueberries. The pancakes were light and very tasty. The coffee was excellent and the woman that was on duty was very friendly. Would go back again if I stay in Errol. It made a bad food experience at the Bull Moose Restaurant a pleasant trip. The restaurant is a typical small town restaurant, nothing fancy, but nothing shabby.

Errol is a miniscule community that has very few options. As a one time resident, I had to try all of them, and lets just say the only one worth a visit is this place. The restauarant may not look the best, but the food... mmmmm.. My favorite is the Moose Burger, A hamburger with provolone onion and swiss, with "Moose Juice" on it. The staff was friendly and greets us everytime we go in! Great place!
