right on the corner coming into or out of Eaton Center, it's the {almmer House...don't just keep going by! Once we stopped in the first time, we're hooked.
Have a drink in the pub, and dinner off the pub menu, or call ahead and for a dinner reservation.
The food is excellent, the prices reasonable. Just can't believe food like this is available in eastern mid-New Hampshire, in little old Eaton Center. (Just 10 min south of Conway)

My raucous family arrived late, but were well treated by a very attentive staff. The food was great, and done to everyone's satisfaction, and the wine recs couldn't have been more spot on! Such a cozy, comfy place at the Inn at Crystal Lake.

The Palmer House Inn, home to the Palmer House Pub, is a great stop along one of New Hampshire's most scenic byways; route 153. 153 parallels rte 16, but meanders through picturesque villages, beautiful necklace of small lakes, and quiet forest. The Palmer House is situated just off the road to be quiet, but close to wonderful vistas, the Stone Mountain Arts center and of course, Crystal Lake, probably one of the most photographed lakes in New Hampshire.
The Pub has retained its wonderful 1940's ski pub feel, but the food is up-to-date and delicious. Dinner at the inn is first rate as well...cozy and comfortable. They even have opera nights! You'll be glad you stopped in for a visit.

The Pub is a great place for a casual meal. The atmosphere and delightful ambiance make it a fun place for modrately priced dining. The menu varies for the 'Palmer House Salad" (huge salad of veggies and fruit, with option of added chicken or shrimp)....to a full course Inn meal. Highly recommended for locals and vistors to the Mt. Washington Valley. You might even get to meet Monty!
PS: The pork shanks are delicious!
