I came here for dinner while in Dover on a business trip and was not disappointed. It's situated on Great Bay and I was seated by a window with a nice view. The original clam chowder was really great and the lobster roll was delicious, as well. Service was friendly and prompt. I hope to go back!

Held my fathers 90th birthday party at Newick's in November 2011; the waitresses/waiters were great. They don't have a function room, but it's so large that you really don't need one and saved having to pay for a banquet room rental. Great menu with daily specials.

We've been going to Newick's for years--twice in the past two weeks! We always enjoy it, despite of--or maybe because of--the casual atmosphere: the huge shore-dinner hall building, the checkered tablecloths, the paper plates and cups. But the food is great: heaping plates of fried clams, calamari, and haddock, or whatever your seafood-loving heart desires. The view over Great Bay is ordinary New England seashore, but the friendly service makes up for any shortcomings. It's always a good experience for us. If you're coming from overseas, it's uniquely American.

Paper plates and the food is always sandy. I just don't like it.
