After a long day of working at my parents' house in Maine, we couldn't stomach the full drive back home. We stumbled upon the Centennial and were thrilled to know it was a Hay Creek Property - as we had a wonderful stay at the Exeter Inn the night before. The Tues & Fri night desk clerk, Peter (who I now lovingly call Peter the Great) hooked us up with an amazing "turret" room at a great price and reserved us a wonderful table in the dining room. Peter is a true historian and we learned a lot about the property and the architecture. The room was outstanding!!! Spacious, beautifully appointed and with a large deck. The bed and bedding were super comfortable and we never heard a peep from the hallway all night. The food and drinks were outstanding as well, with much of the menu locally sourced. The staff of both the hotel and the restaurant were mature, attentive and professional. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again.
