"Hot!" décor that is authentic and from Mexico meshes beautifully in an old historic New England building. Margaritas was originally the Concord police station and jail. In bygone years it temporarily housed some pretty shady characters; including some of the Charles Manson gang! In the main body of the restaurant the old jail cells have cleverly been converted into private dining chambers. The cell doors still there; a reminder of the buildings past.
"Hot!" menu selection that ALWAYS arrive at the table piping hot! Choices include everything from classic Mexican to salads with a bit of a twist and even a few selections for the less adventurous "Gringo" palate. Even the ice cream is "Hot!"... deep fried.
Seasonal specials début on a separate menu. All of the meal portions are generous. Very fair prices!
Margaritas also has a small, friendly sports lounge and serves much more than just margaritas. (Although that is a favorite!)
And one last "Hot!" tip: Margaritas cares. They give back to the community.
