We had an invite to do the escape room with a couple other families. We did the subway escape room. We had 5 adults and 5 kids, between 7-10. It was fun to get lead in blindfolded and how they got us started. However as soon as our timer started, it got very challenging. Everyone kind of went in different directions and very little brought us back together. It took a lot of piecing together, backtracking, and asking for clues. Many other escape rooms either lead you into an obvious dead end or bring you back to a clue that you need. There was tons of “dead clues” but we didn’t know they were “dead” until we had solved the escape room. We did end up solving it with minutes to spare. We look forward to trying another with hopes of it working out better.
