We travel to New Hampshire 2 or 3 times a year. This is the first time we stayed here, but will deffinately be back. Location was the first thing we liked. The front desk person treated us like an old friend. and made us very comfortable. My new friend that sets up the Breakfast every morning is a pleasure to see, especially when you just want a good cup of coffee.
Deffinately worth the few extra miles up the mountain.

Room Tip: we were in 110 by the pool nice that it closes at 10.

Thank you for the great comment. We do try to please all of our guests to the best we can. Sorry you couldn't find a good restaurant around. There are some really good ones just 10-15 minutes away and also a GREAT restaurant right across the street The Country Cow.

My husband wrote a positive review for this hotel over four months ago, but I've noticed several negative ones since then. We've stayed here numerous times going back a few years now, and never once have we been dissatisfied. It's about the best Days Inn we've ever seen, and I think that's because it used to be a Holiday Inn. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here when we come to the White Mountain area, and that's usually at least twice a year. We travel regularly so we know what to look for and what to avoid. There's nothing wrong with this hotel as far as we've seen; it's in a quiet area and the rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The rooms in the back are even more private, but we've stayed in the front many times and have never had a problem with noise. Just want to say again that we really like this place, and it's close to the White Mountain attractions.

Got this hotel through a Priceline Express Bid and wasn't too happy about it as I normally avoid Days Inn's like the plague after a past experience. None-the-less didn't have much of a choice so toughed it out for a couple days. First off Ruth and the staff are very friendly and the best thing I can say about the place and the only thing that made it bearable. They do have a pool and hot tub but each time I went in there it was populated by young adults drinking beers (looked more like teens but what do I know). The rooms and common areas are out of the 60's, the beds are like sleeping on a board, and the breakfast isn't too good...nothing hot and minimal selection...no yogurt or anything like that. They did have a refrigerator in the room that was a nice surprise and worked out. It looked like it was from the 60's too but was nice and cold. Fairly decent central location for traveling north to the Mountains or South to Lake Winnipesaukee. I recommend doing the "Paddle the Pemi" at Ski Fanatics in Campton. They are super nice and the river was beautiful and a lot of fun.

I stayed for a weekend here in the beginning of July 2012 with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. The manager & his staff were all friendly & accommodating. The room we had was large, clean & comfortable with TV, refrigerator and microwave. There was not a single pest in sight, either in the room or throughout the motel. The Continental Breakfast was extensive and the fresh food was constantly being replenished. There is a nice front lawn with flower beds, trees, picnic tables and grilling available. It is a great location, being centrally located between the White Mountains and the Lakes Region. It was nice to be able to use the pool, jacuzzi & sauna before a good night's rest. I highly recommend the Days Inn at Campton, N.H.

The first thing you notice when you walk in to the building is the pungent odor of old musty rooms. The actual inn should be considered an ancient artifact in that it is so old and everything in it is old including the bed, towels, etc. A huge problem was the presence of bed bugs and bugs on the sheets it is unknown to me how the other reviews rave of clean rooms because we got anything but clean. So as a warning to the future stayers stay clear unless you like getting swollen red bites all over your body.

Best customer service in a long time, from front desk to breakfast staff. We had left our phone there and got a call letting us know they had it. Room was clean but needs some tlc, wall paper peeling.
