“Great spot for ice cream, lunch or dinner”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

We have visited several times this summer. In fact staff knows our daughter's "usual" ice cream choice. Their ice cream is made right there on the premises I try to order something different each time and all flavors have been great. Make sure to get some warm Belgian chocolate topping. Had dinner there once and was very good. Many good choices including vegetarian options. They also have some interesting seasonal beer options

“Best hot fudge sundae ever!”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

This place is fantastic. The fudge is creamy and flavorful (penuche and maple are best) and they use it on their hot fudge sundaes! They also have yummy sandwiches with fresh, local ingredients. As a plus, if you go in certain nights there is live music and drinks. You can sit on the porch overlooking the river and enjoy the view with your ice cream. You will want to go back again and again for the hot fudge sundae alone (or hot caramel/penuche mmmmmm).

“Great Salad”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Only place in the area having salads using greens other than iceberg. They have a wonderful make your own salad.
Ice cream is delish - is and tastes homemade.
Ate outside twice overlooking the grist mill river fall.
Great place for lunch and simple summer dinner.
It's tucked away in a corner and is an easily missed local gem.
Superior to the other obvious restaurants that cater to the summer crowds.

“Best Fudge & Service”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

My wife and I travel the country and taste fudge from wherever we can. The Mill Fudge factory is by far the best fudge we have tasted. It is creamy with just the right amount of sweet...service is friendly. They also do homemade ice cream which is very good. When we are not in New Hampshire, we buy it online. This time we happened to be in New Hampshire and they had Open Mic Night in their back room, which was very entertaining.

“Gem of an ice cream/fudge shop!”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

This little shop near Newfound Lake in NH is a gem--terrific fudge and ice cream in a lovely old mill near the river with friendly staff and an old-fashioned feel. Check it out if you are in the Newfound Lake area. They also serve other food and have live music some weekends. Worth checking out.
