This is a well run B&B that has the great rustic look and feel but also clean and well kept. The food is terrific and everyone is so friendly and helpful. If you have a family, look no further because everyone leaves this place with a smile on their face

The minute we walked into the b & b there was a feeling of a cozy, homey, beautiful home. The smells of fresh cooked pies and cookies filled the air and the assorted coffees and teas were outstanding. Sondra met us at the door and became an instant friend. The two days we were there we had the most delicious breakfasts that took us through two meals. Sondra gave us recommendations for massages, meals, and horseback riding (all of which we enjoyed immensely). The b & b is on top of a hill which overlooks the lake and spectacular beauty. I enjoyed every minute to the wonderful room, game area, reading by the fire, kitchen (talking with all the other guests). Will be going back again. :-)

Room Tip: I was very glad that they had a room with two twin beds as two of us were traveling and this is a pr...

As we followed the GPS we were getting a little worried. The road kept getting narrower as we climbed up steep unpaved banks, and it was well after sunset so we had to trust in our sense of direction (which is pretty bad) and our hosts directions to get us there. But once we saw the sign for the bed and breakfast we were relieved.
We got out of our car and let our dog Roxy out to stretch her legs. She had done really well for Four and a half hours and we needed to let run and sniff. Just as we did that, Sondra (our inkeeper) arrived with her own two dogs.
PLAYDATE!!! Perfect timing.
We went inside and Sondra showed us around the kitchen and self serve coffee bar which is the most perfect thing if you are a coffee junkie like myself. The kitchen was filled with wonderful sweets for all the guests to have and tons of candy in dishes so we could help ourselves. It really felt like a trip to grandma's when I was a kid, only we scarfed all the candy corns this time.
Our room was up the stairs from the kitchen and it was perfect. A nice King bed and a tv and dvd player. an alarm clock and a separate seating area as well. Two lovely robes hung in the closet for us to use and the bathroom was exactly the right size.
The best was yet to come though. After finally managing to shake off our sugar high from the candy corn, we awoke to look out upon the most amazing view. Below us in the distance was the lake, and from one side of horizon to the other were a string of beautiful mountains, one after the other, with colors ablaze in the morning light. To make it even better, there were clouds heaped on top of two of them that just sat there like buttercream icing, too thick to move into the valley. And this view was just out my window. As I went down stairs, I realized that arriving in the dark left me with no idea how perfectly perched this house was. The entire side of the house was windows. You couldn't miss the beauty that was surrounding the house.
Now here is the best part....
The breakfasts were TO DIE FOR. A combination of the best pastries and the most amazing breakfasts you can imagine. They were the kind that you want to luxuriate over, and you do.
No one that we met there had had any reason to eat lunch in the entire time they were staying at the inn.
And neither will you.
It is a real gem.
What you get for the money is stupendous. hands down one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in.
We have already booked our next stay.
See you there.
;)

Room Tip: All the rooms are equally nice. It just depends what you want to spend.

I was looking for a nice relaxing place to stay and I was recommended here. We were greeted in the kitchen and shown around by Sondra. The inn was spotless and beautiful. We were able to check in early then went for a hike. For dinner we are at the Italian farmhouse which I thought was great. After a hike and dinner we spent done time in the hot tub in our room relaxing and taking in the views. The room was everything and more than what I expected. Words can't say how happy we were here. After a nice filling breakfast we chose to hang around the inn and talk to sondra and the other guest and play with the dogs, Bernie being my favorite. The grounds were well kept and peaceful.

Don't let the fact that you may feel that you've lost your way as you ascend from road to gravel to dirt. Instead you now have happened upon a most perfect spot. The gardens are enchanting with colors ablaze and wonderful scents. There are many places to rest and drink in all the outside beauty and you just might come upon the chickens that will be supplying some of the mornings breakfast. Once you enter it will be hard to take your eyes off the magnificent view of the mountains and lake but your nose will be directed to the very attractive open kitchen that no doubt Sondra will either be baking or has left the most delectable treats. Full use of the kitchen is a great plus. Our room was very nice with a great bathroom and a oh so very comfortable bed. Sondra's personality surely is perfect for her B&B and her Inn - Superlative!!!

We stayed one night in the Newfound Room, absolutely stunning! The views were so beautiful both from the main area and our room. The room was breathtaking, fireplace, jacuzzi, refrigerator and a gorgeous bathroom (everything was spotless as well). There is a very friendly vibe in the whole place which is due to Sondra's personality. Everyone that was there seemed like a member of the family (and the dogs added to that feel), it was wonderful! This was the first time we have stayed in B and B, and I think this place has spoiled us for any others! We will definitely be back!!

Being from NYC, it was exactly what the doctor ordered. The place itself is gorgeous inside and out, not to mention the dog-friendliest lodging I've ever experience. Our pup got along very well with the Sondra's dogs and it was such a relaxing atmosphere. She gave us free use of the kitchen and outdoor grill and every day and night was breathtakingly beautiful. What more could I say about it besides that it was simply AMAZING!

Room Tip: Oops there's no swimming pool--clicked it accidentally.
