You get what you pay for. We paid a bunch, but feel like it was well worth it. We went for 2 nights on a spa-tacular package that included breakfast each day and $400 in spa credits. We also upgraded our room to a corner vista which is twice the size of a normal room and has 6 windows and a fireplace. All very cool. We did the canopy tour which I highly recommend, and had a couple of massages etc. There seemed to be plenty to do for families as well as couples. The place is huge. No ghost in site, so that was a plus as well.

Room Tip: corner vista, room 301 is great.

I suprised my husband with an overnight stay at the Omni Mount Washington for his birthday for the second year in a row. When making the reservation I mentioned that this was a surprise for my husband and let them know how much we enjoyed our last stay. After we checked in there was a knock at the door and room service delivered a decadently decorated cupcake with Happy Birthday on it along with two written Birthday notes from the hotel!! We had a room with a beautiful view of the mountains. We enjoyed our room so much feeling so relaxed we ordered room service for dinner, the food was hot and cooked to order. The next morning we enjoyed a spectacular breakfast buffet which was presented eligantly around the dining room. The service was tremendous, as soon as you put down your coffee someone was there to fill it right away. The dining room was all glass providing spectacular views all around you. We only went away for one night but the service and ambience of this beautiful resort had the both of us feeling well rested and treated like royalty! We look forward to going back again next year.

Room Tip: The breakfast buffet is well worth the money. Last visit we took advantage of the Spa, one of the best deep tissue massage's I have ever had. The Spa has a wonderful outdoor jacuzzi which is the pefect way to end your day watching the sun set.

My Mother & I both had treatments at the Spa. We drove just for a day trip. It was the best experience I've ever had! Any Spa goer would love this destination! Spa was huge, and very comfortable to be in, expecially the locker rooms. Staff was so friendly and theTreatments exceeded our expectations! Prices were competative, but well worth every penny. Therapist are very experienced. Both Massage and Facials are reccomened! We will be back!

We visited the hotel for a long weekend April 13-15. The hotel itself is very nice - spacious, very clean, and friendly staff. Our issue was that so many things in the hotel were closed, it was very disappointing. The year-round outdoor pool, which was one of the main reasons we booked here over another hotel, was closed for maintenance. Unfortunately we got email notification of this only after it was past the hotel's cancellation policy. They do have an indoor pool which we did use, but the indoor pool was small and very crowded since that was the only option. The year round canopy tours were also closed.

The biggest issue we had though was that there was very little choices to eat in the hotel. On Saturday night we ate at their casual steak restaurant Stickney - was a bit pricey, but the food was terrific so didn't mind that. We initially had reservations here for Sunday night as well but were notified that had to be cancelled because it was shutting down for renovations after Saturday. Multiple bar areas in the hotel were also closed throughout our stay. On Sunday, there was actually no place in the hotel to eat lunch unless you ordered room service. Even their bakery Morsels that had wrapped sandwiches on Saturday had no sandwiches on Sunday. When we stay at such a grand hotel, our expectations are that you shouldn't have to leave it for anything, especially not to just have lunch. For dinner, your choices were the grand ballroom (provided you had reservations and a dinner jacket) or 5 minutes down the road at Fabyns, a restaurant they owned as well. The food there was fine - nothing special, but not bad either.

There were several other amenities that were closed as well, but you get the idea. We understand that upkeep needs to happen, but it seemed very poor planning to have so many things closed at the same time. I know that its on the slower side of the season, but even still they should stagger closings so that guest still have some options available. We left disappointed in our visit. It wasn't a horrible time, just not really enjoyable. I could imagine that staying at the hotel at a different time could be a much better experience, but unfortunately we won't take that chance and return again - too expensive of a gamble.

My husband and I had a gift card to use and booked a weekend mid-April, even though we knew it would be mud season. We've spent a lot of time in the area in summer, fall, and winter, so we weren't concerned. We were amazed at the level of service and the refinement of the renovations in the hotel. Our room (263) was spotless and had a heavenly king bed and a great view of the Presidential Range behind the hotel. One negative (and I read another review that also mentioned this) was that we were at the end of the hall, next to the elevator . . . noisy! Ate dinner at Stickney's our first night. Clam chowder excellent. Curry chicken salad good; would have prefered dressing on the side. Dinner at the Bretton Arms the next night. One of the best meals we've ever had. Only complaint was that the Caesar salad had a bit too much dressing. Service was top-notch . . . warm, helpful, and efficient. Breakfast buffet in dining room Sunday morning was extensive and varied. Blueberry sausage a hit with my husband! Service at our table was superior: napkins folded and silverware promptly replaced when we revisited buffet, coffee and water refills throughout . . . all with a gracious smile by our waitress. I visited the spa for a pedicure (as the snow flew outside!) on Sunday before checkout. Wished I had more time to enjoy more of the services there. A gorgeous spa facility . . . amazing pampering.

Room Tip: Room 263 had beautiful views of Presidentail Range, but was next to elevator at end of the hall. Fairly noisy.
