Good food, friendly staff though is was unbearably warm the night we were there. The staff had to keep opening the door to let the snowy air in to cool down the room.

We visited this location for a two family ski weekend, four adults and four children 12-8. We selected this restaurant in the main hotel over the other on property restaurant where we were staying. More for a change and this restaurant had a little more relaxed dress code (ski weekend).
The views from the hotel are wonderful and the lobby is very elegant, but comfortable at the same time.
We visited on a Saturday night and it was busy, however from the time we were seated our meals did not arrive for 1.5 hours. Not such a big deal however with kids, not exactly great.
The food selection (for adults) is not large, but well rounded. The food selection for children is very limited.
Our children have nut allergies and each ended up with a very small bowl of plain pasta for $8.00 a piece I believe.
Though the setting was a bit loud our waitress was basically yelling across the table to take orders and answer questions (this made me uncomfortable).
When the allergy issue came up things went very much down hill. The kids wanted burgers, but the buns "may have been made in a place that has nuts" This was pretty much the standard answer for many items. At the other on property locations the allergy issue was handled completely differently and very well I might add.
One of our friends daughters (no allergies) ordered mac and cheese. This was horrible according to her mother and the child. Not sure if it was a special four cheese sauce or not, but again it was the kids menu? She also ended up with plain pasta.
I believe the kids meals came with ice cream, but since the ice cream (you guessed it) came from a place that also processes nuts, no ice cream for the kids.
On to the adult meals, noting special and I found my New York strip (38.00) was no better than a steak at the Outback.
I think the whole thing would have went a lot better for us had a manager come over and spoken to us at some point during the meal. T
The food selection and service really did not live up to what we expected. In fact it was far less than what we expected. I think this was because we had such great food and service at the other on property locations.

This restaurant is located in the Omni. It took a pretty long time for the maître d to get us the table but once at the table the service picked up.

The food is a much better than what you would get a chain restaurant but in relationship to the sticker price it is only average. Good food but expensive in other words.

Salmon, crab cakes and steaks all delicious. Great lemon flavored asparagus for side dish. Smashed potatoes also a nice treat. Calamari and Mussels for appetizers were very good as well. More casual atmosphere than main dining room but similar prices.

The hostess Jen was very knowledgeable and friendly, she made us feel like vips by squeezing us in on a busy night. Stephanie was our waitress, no matter what we asked she knew the answer. She had us laughing and made the whole experience a great one. I would definitely recommend going to Sticneys, great food amazing service and excellent views.
