Come for the steaks. One of the best I've probably ever head.

Beyond that, the service was OK and the dining room was frigid! I kept my down jacket on all night. Play it safe and have reservations-- we had a drink in the bar beforehand and saw that those without reservations had to stay in there, and it was filling up quickly.

No exageration. So yeah, this place's chef is the real deal. The ribeye was cooked medium rare to perfection with just the right char/crust and a good salt rub. The rest of the meal and my wife's lobster-swordfish-mussels gumbo was also top notch. Make it a night and try their Tuckerman pale ale too. The dessert menu could use a little work though.

We didn't have reservations, but were able to get in at tables near the bar. The service was WONDERFUL. Our waiter (who was local) was attentive, but not overly so...polite and helpful. We had apps, entree, drinks and dessert, all of which were excellent and our entree cooked to order. I also recommend Chocolate Decadence for dessert. Drinks were well made and of high quality.

I could have done without TV's in the vicinity which gave our dining experience a bit of a 'pub' feel, however, they were not overly loud or obnoxious (sadly the people next to us were, although this was not the fault of Stickney's).

Overall the atmosphere was cozy and warm with a sense of privacy. The table and chairs ,even in the bar, gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Enjoyed a business dinner at this restaurant, located in the historic Mt. Washington Hotel. Two of my party enjoyed the NY strip steaks, and another the filet mignon. I went with the lamb chops. We all were well-satisfied. Desserts were fantastic.
You can't beat the atmosphere.
Had very prompt and efficient service. Our waiter was well-versed in the menu, wines, desserts, and anything else we asked him.

We had lunch at Stickneys while passing by Bretton Woods. The food was good enough for the price you pay. The 2 hosts walking around didnt give a very welcome feeling, they just lacked enthusiasm. They tried to place everybody at tables without a window view so lots of people asked if they could get a table with a view which they would then get but that kind of 'tricks' dont make you feel welcome. Luckily our waitress Emily was very nice and did a really good job! She made sure we had a nice experience and was very charming.
