“Probably won't stay here again”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Stayed here for 2 nights. Issues started right at check in. Booked a Non-Smoking room, but the Front Desk had us booked for a Smoking Room. We were told there was no other rooms available. The room smelled like an old dirty ash tray. The manager said he would send someone up to the room and deodorize it again. I don't know if that really happened or not,, because the smell didn't get any better. We actually went out and bought an air freshener, that helped a little. The lights in the bathroom only worked occasionally. The entrance light didn't work at all. The beds were comfortable and seemed clean, but the smoke smell was still overwhelming. The breakfast buffet was OK, but a little crowded. The front desk staff was pleasant, but not overly helpful.

Room Tip: Make sure you choose Non-Smoking room, unless you smoke.

Bob:

Thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to write about the hotel. I apologize to you for not being able to accomodate you in a non-smoking room during your stay. We are currently looking to possibly eliminate all smoking rooms in 2014 but for now, we do our best do make these rooms as 'smoke free' as possible. We would love for you to try us again in one of our 110 non-smoking rooms.

Thanks again,

Michael Scavotto

Room was okay but nothing exceptional. Desk staff seemed bored. They did not seem glad to see us and when we left, they didn't smile or say a word. My son lives in Concord and he pointed out that the Hampton was one of the two better places to stay. We may try the other place next time.

This is a great place to stay in the Concord, NH area. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel staff is always pleasant and courteous. Would highly recommend this Hampton Inn to friends.

I stay here 2 or 3 times a year, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts are hot and there is plenty of choice, most importantly the staff are friendly and the manager is on top of things to ensure you are satisfied. One night there were a number of families on my floor and they were opening and closing the doors all night, I hadn't slept well. The next morning I spoke to the manager and he not only changed my room but offered me an upgrade. Highly recommed this hotel for whatever reason you may be in the area, personally I'm there to relax, visit family and shop.

Quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. Easy access on and off 2 major highways, but I never heard any highway (or any other) noise. Hotel clerk at check in had no personality.

We had a delightful stay in a handicap assistance room. The beds are a perfect height and the bathroom has easy access for the shower. We have stayed at other chain hotels and often find they have no handicap access rooms with two beds. This is a definite plus. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and considerate of our co0mfort and safety.

This is probably the worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in. I've always liked Hampton because their beds are always good. Not this one!! Horrible beds and moldy bathroom. Can't tolerate either! The staff wasn't up to par either. They acted like they weren't the least bit interested in our business. Tried to call and make reservation directly with the hotel and the young man told me he was too busy. Really!
