“Loved every minute....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2010

Found this gem online and were looking forward to our stay for some weeks, it was beyond our expectation, we loved every minute of 2-day stay.
We loved the area, the house, the history, the room, the cookies, the breakfast, the couch in front of the fireplace. And above all we loved Mary ;-)
Sound to good to be true ? We thought so too.......

We stayed in at the Mulburn inn for 2 nights while we were visiting the white mountains. It was a perfect location to use as your base. Our room was lovely, a big high 4 post bed and antique furnishings. The bed was 'very' squeaky!!! Which we told Mary about and she said she was going to have it attended to.
Mary made us a lovely breakfast both mornings, there was tea and coffee always available and she made fantastic muffins every day!
The only down side is no TV in your room however there is one downstairs in the lounge.

If you want 'old world' New England charm, this is the place to stay! My partner and I stayed here early September 2010 and absolutely loved it. Mary, the new owner was delightful and made us feel like we were in our own home. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome which was continued throughout our stay. Breakfasts were excellent and plenty-full, all freshly prepared and served by Mary. The Mulburn Inn is a beautiful and historic gem, full of original victorian features and grandeur positioned off the road just on the drive out of Bethlehem NH, which is an incredibly scenic area. Our stay at the Mulburn Inn will remain in our hearts and memories for a long time.It is a place we will return to when visiting New Hampshire again. We wish Mary the very best of luck with her new business venture, she deserves to succeed.

Party of four stayed at Mulburn Inn (two rooms) while visiting the White Mountain area for some hiking & touring. In is under new management since June, 2010. Had a great time. Bethleham, NH location very convenient for visiting the White Mountains and offers a number of area restaurants for dinner. Inn is a renovated Victorian-style summer home with outdoor porch, large high ceiling rooms downstairs and comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Innkeeper is very nice, informed about the area and served sumptuous breakfasts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Mulburn Inn for two nights and loved every bit of it. There is new ownership and Mary is very accomodating and friendly. There were fresh flowers throughout the house and we were greeted with wine when we walked in and the fridge was stocked with water, soda, yogurt and homeade granola. We had two small children and they felt at home there. The rooms were large, very clean and beautiful in the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c kept it nice and cool. The breakfast's were wonderful and the cookies and other goodies appeared each afternoon. We were even sent on our way with fresh snacks for the road. We have nothing but positive feedback for this inn. It was a highlight of our trip.

What a treasure the Mulburn Inn is! We were greeted warmly by the new owner who had delicious cookies and cider ice tea waiting for her guests. The room was quiet with a big comfortable bed. We needed to leave early and the owner made sure that we still got an amazing breakfas before we left! My husband and I highly recommend this inn for travelers - you won't be sorry!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mulburn Inn immensely. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all the charm of the early 1900's. You couldn't ask for a nicer more accommadating hostess than Mary the owner. The breakfasts were spectacular! Not to mention delicious homemade treats that were available every afternoon. We definitely plan to stay there again in the future and would recommend it highly to anyone traveling in that area.
