don't go!!! we have owned for over 20 years worse every time. we went in june and in august. both weeks they canceled all activities. went through game room and had climb over and under wires to get to indoor pool. game tables were covered in tools. staff says they are under staffed and we are off season. general manager said most of the budget goes to ski season has very little to spend on summer owners. other owners telling us that there units are in disrepair for the last 3 years and are told next year they will have repairs done. we were told "maybe" next year they will have activities. i took pictures mostly of all the stuff in disrepair. pools are dirty hot tubs the floors are all chipped. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! no pride in their work

Room Tip: bring your own cleaners

Our one bedroom unit, exchanged through RCI, was MORE than spacious enough for two people. We had a two-story unit with Murphy bed on the main, full kitchen and full bath and laundry. The sofa in the living area was also a pull-out. That would have been space enough, but then there was a second level master bedroom with king bed, gas stove, spa tub, and a three-piece bath.

The kitchen was well-equipped, although some inspection of what guests have washed and put away would be in order. Many of the pots and pans were greasy and needed washing before we'd use them. Plenty of windows on the main floor, and the facility WiFi is good. But as one other reviewer observed, the furnishings are low to mid-quality as are the carpets and some of the finishing work; decor is minimalist or shouldn't-have-bothered in quaity. This place will look dog-eared and worn within 2 years, even though the Jefferson building is quite new. We could have walked to the pool, gym, restaurant, but you wouldn't want to since this building is across the highway and up a giant hill from the main facilities. Road noise from Hwy 302 was a bit of a problem and the whole business of getting in and out of the car to use the main facilities got old very quickly. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating to our requests generally. In fact, throughout the whole Bartlett, North Conway NH area the people are super friendly and very pleasant. This is an area which seems to recognize the value of its visiting tourists.

Room Tip: Buildings (older) on the same side of the highway as the main facilities would be much more convenie...

We exchanged into this resort through RCI and were extremely pleased with our unit and considered it one of the best we have ever stayed in.
We booked a two bedroom unit and were delighted with what we got; one large studio unit equipped with bathroom with shower over a spa bath, washer & dryer, small kitchen with hob & microwave, dining area, lounge area with pull down double (Murphy) bed and double sofa bed. We ALSO got a one bedroom unit set out as follows; ground floor entrance hall, good sized bathroom with shower over a spa bath, very well equipped kitchen (large fridge/freezer, full sized oven & hob, multi function microwave, dishwasher), dining area, lounge area with pull down double (Murphy) bed and double sofa bed. There were stairs up to a massive queen bedroom which also had a sofa bed, corner spa bath, sink area, fridge and an en-suite shower room (which also housed another washer/dryer)!!
The studio and one bedroom unit had (lockable) doors through to each other to make it a very large space indeed. There were gas fires and televisions in each room (including the upstairs bedroom). This set up meant that it could house 3 adult couples in complete privacy, plus sofa beds for kids. Cannot vouch for the comfort of the Murphy or sofa beds but the queen bed suited us perfectly and we slept like babies!!
The units and public areas we visited were all clean and well maintained. The bar offers a good selection of beers. We only visited the on site restaurant once. It offers a limited menu but also has daily specials which seemed quite varied. Good value for money food. We didn't use any of the on site facilities as we were too busy travelling and exploring the local area.
Attitash is ideally situated for anyone wishing to explore the New Hampshire area. We were newbies to this area of the USA but managed to see an awful lot of the surrounding area whilst we were there. The Conway Scenic Railway is close by, as is the beautiful Kancamagus Highway and Mount Washington. Storyland is also very close for those with kids.
We would definitely book again at this resort.

Room Tip: We stayed in The Pearce House which is over the road from the main resort area. The only noise we g...

We spent a week at Attitash Mountain Village. The unit and facilities were excellent. My only complaint was the placement of the upper dishes cabinet. Very difficult to reach the dishes. The location of the resort is perfect for visiting major attractions in the area. Shopping and lots of fine restaurants in North Conway approx 15 mins away.

Room Tip: We were in the River Run area. Quiet and convenient to the amenities.

Very convenient location, great parking, nice property, close to everything. The rooms were so very basic. We had a two bedroom and the actual building was nice, but they couldn't have been more cheap with the beds / linens / decor. The sofa bed was truly horrible. There is so much potential here. On the good side the mini kitchen was outfitted with lots of things and all of them basically brand new, but still as cheap as you can get. We may go back sometime anyways.

A couple of tips: If you are there with a child who likes trains see if you can get a room on the tracks, that was fun (it's only 3-4 daytime scenic trains which pass) and you absolutely can't miss dinner at the White Mountain Cider Company. It was an amazing, world-class dining meal. Not to be missed.

MY fiance and two 4 yr old daughters stayed here for our 3 night story land trip. I was told that the room we booked was in one of the "New" buildings. I asked 2 different employees before we got to the hotel and both said yes its a new building. BEWARE, the buildings they call new must be over 10 years old. The room had a strong odor of a mixture of B.O. and wet dog. I immediately began calling every hotel with in 20 miles that were up to our standards and not one had any rooms available. The next morning I offered to pay more for a different ( nicer ) room. They were fully booked but at least offered to take some $$ of the bill. It was deff livable, but for that kind of money you would expect something different. We travel quite a bit and have no problem spending extra money for a nice room. The hotel staff was nice and helpful and offered to send maintenance when we told them about the end table literally falling apart because one of the legs was not screwed in, it was just resting in place with the table on top of it. And the other end table was barely standing. I declined the help and would rather just not use the table than have the bother of maint. come by. I never bothered to tell them one of the lamps didn't work, so we had to switch them around. There is a nice little fishing pond which I didnt bother to bring my rod because they told me they have ones for guests to borrow at the desk. Good Luck with that, we found out theres only 2 lender rods and after stopping by about 5 times in two days we finally got one. It was like hitting the lottery. I was so excited to finally score a fishing rod, not usually my idea of excitement but it was this weekend. It just bothered me that we could have booked any hotel because this was planned so far in advance and took our chances here. Live and Learn I guess. One other downfall if no breakfast on property, just lunch and dinner.

Room Tip: Don't sleep on the pull out couches if you don't want a metal bar in your back all night, an...

It was a good looking place, right across from attitash. But make sure they don't stick you in the motel building. Our room had a spa tub that didn't work. we took the timeshare tour and saw there were much nicer rooms we were not offered but I really wouldn't go back for the price. If you have a coupon for half off then try it out, other than that keep going.
