“Pleasantly surprised”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

Been wanting to try this place since last years vacation. So glad I did. Small, cute and cozy place. We had burgers and fried clams. The burgers were huge and oh so good. Clams were superb. Wish I had room for dessert because they offer a ton of homemade pies that looked delish. Will be back.

“A great find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

This was a great find during our trip. We were returning to Glen on our way back from Crawford Notch State park, and stopped for a late lunch. We were a family of 6 with 2 seniors and 2 children. We were ushered in very cordially. The restaurant is small, and they did not have a table that would fit us. They took our orders while we waited, and we got a table by the time the food arrived.
I ordered the notch (one of the steak burgers) and it was delicious, and was also big enough to fill me.Our group ordered a myriad of other dishes (hot lobster roll, grilled chicken sandwitch, lobster bisque, flakey haddock etc.) and all of them were very tasty. The fries (that came with every dish) were among the best. The strawberry rhubarb pie was ok.
The service was also very comfortable - casual yet courteous.

“Simply Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

We loved Cabin Fever! The food was wonderful and the service was great!
We were seated immediatley and our drinks were soon brought to us. We had a hard time deciding on what to order because everything looked so good! But eventually we decided on three Bartlett burgers, kids clam strips and kids fish bites! Our food was brought at just the perfect time, and we started to eat!
We all loved our food! The kids loved their meals with big portions and delicious fries, particularly the clam strips which were a knockout! We later learned from the owner that the clams are not frozen, but are actually driven up from Ipswich, Massachusetts! Talk about quality!
The burgers were amazing! Whoever cooked them has mastered the art of cooking a burger medium rare, a skill that is very hard to find!

The kids meals came with the ice cream of their choice, a wonderfully sweet finish to their meals. We also ordered a slice of strawberry-rhubarb pie, which was extremely delicious!

Cabin Fever is just not your normal restaurant, care and thought has been put into the planning of their menus and the execution of their food. It's not a hodge podge of mediocre dishes, but a selection of tastefully chosen meals. We will definitely be visiting Cabin Fever again!

“Two more visits in the last month to Cabin Fever”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

We've had 2 more visits to Cabin Fever in the last month. One was eat in, the other take out pizza. Most of us had fish on the dine in visit. Fresh, perfectly battered and moist. Very generous portions. The place was hopping and very loud that particular evening. The decor here is charming, but does little to deaden the sound. Beautiful hardwood floors, and a clever ceiling of metal roofing material do little to absorb noise and we could barely hear ourselves because we were seated next to a bubbly group of about 10 people.
We ordered the pizza take out a couple of weeks later - the Cliffhanger. Delicious, as usual, but we were surprised to see the price had gone up $3.00, and was now almost $20.00 for a 16' pizza.
In reviewing the updated menu, we noticed that just about everything has gone 10 to 20%. We hope this excellent little restaurant does not price itself out of the competition.
