This hotel was probably king in the early 1970's. That was 45 years ago. Today this hotel-casino is kinda typical of Northern Nevada. Attractions include a really smokey small casino, a small smokey bar, a really smokey restaurant, and mostly 1970's style mirrored maze of registration counter.
The Hotel has rooms in several different buildings, I would recommend out of the main building/casino and away from the smoke. It filters thru all the hallways with the poor air circulation system.
The rooms in the main building are tiny, probably 12x12, just room for a bed, 2 small chairs and a desk.
Beds very pretty uncomfortable, pillows are really bad. To give credit they have tried to remodel the small bathrooms, a decent attempt.
here are better and newer places, but this is one of 2 places that have a semi full casino.
On the good side, this place is in walking distance to 2 of the better restaurants in town.
