This is far the worst hotel experience I ever had and even low expectations could not save this hotel. We arrived late around midnight tired and picked this hotel just so we get some sleep. We walk in and first impressions it seems like someone's home who was playing hotel. The office was decorated by something like someone one's grandma's house; knickknacks, outdated decorations with furniture that should be thrown. I ignored my gut feeling and asked for a room. They said the room would be $70 for a double. I thought that was steep for non-chain motel. This is a town, remember, with nothing to do and little resources for a traveler. We asked if they give discount for AAA, senior ect and they said they do not give any discounts. Funny thing is because they have huge sign outside the hotel that says they give discounts to CDL truck drivers. So they flat out LIED to us. We were too tired to argue and took the room, hoping for at least good sleep and the breakfast they mentioned.

The hotel itself is old and run down. As we went down the hallway their were many large repairs needs to be made: such as doors dinged up and dirty that needed to be thrown, dirty old carpet that is coming up and ripped, wear and dirt on the walls and the list goes on. No luggage trollies either so that was great to haul all our stuff by hand in he middle of the night. Our room was probably the worst part of all the bad parts of this hotel. The room was old and outdated. Everything in the room needs repair from carpets, furniture, decor, wallpaper in the bathroom, grout in the bathroom etc. The room was quite large (only positive of this stay.) It had an old dirty saggy couch I did not dare sit on. The beds were so horrible. The blankets were old and paper-thin and were so worn holes were in them. The pillows were flat as hell. When I sat on the bed it sunk to the ground and sleeping on it was like sleeping on a rock. The bed, linens and mattress had to be at least 10-20 years old.The towels were so bad, tiny and scratchy that they left my skin red and I think a Brillo pad would have been more gentle.

But hold on it gets worse. They are so cheap they had no lotions, shampoos or conditioner. They had 1 tiny bar soap. They got even cheaper by putting but 2 old Gojo dispensers, one in the bathroom and by the sink. Yes, Gojo dispensers, like the ones in a nasty gas station bathroom which were both EMPTY. Even worse they put the towel rack IN THE SHOWER! I had reached in the shower to warm up the water without looking and got my towels half soaked. Who puts the towels and towel rack in the shower? In the bathroom there was a phone jack (no phone) right next to the toilet, just really odd. But they get even cheaper beyond the dirty room, bed and everything else. Sitting on a large 3 foot desk was a TV. I am not joking you this TV was a 15inch TV old school big-box which was at least 10-15 years old and one of the cheapest brands you could get. When you laid in bed you could not properly see the TV screen. Our sleep quality was horrible due to the beds and the fact that it was freezing. When we first got in the room, by the way, the heat was off and it was -6 outside. Even after turning up the heat we froze due to the crappy blankets and insufficient heater for a large room. So we got up 6 hours later with a 14 hour drive ahead of us on very little crappy sleep. Already crabby enough the last strike came at check out. We went to checkout and get breakfast. Breakfast was coffee and tray with 6 PLAIN DOUGHNUTS and 3 MINI MUFFINS. That was it. Not to mention the food was unsanitary with no cover over the food and no tongs to handle the food. I can only imagine how the food was handled before presented. The thing that pisses me off about the hotel is that they have a the grapes to charge $70 for this stuff. Plus they charged us $5 for leaving our key card in the room...come on! Minus their being hookers or bedbugs this place could not go any lower.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.
