While in Virgina City, NV be sure to check out the Fourth Ward School Museum. From the 1800's up until the mid 1900's, students filled this multi-story Victorian era schoolhouse. You can view exhibits of what life was like in the old west for children and their teachers. There are complete school rooms and the tour guide will tell you about what it must have been like for the students to sit in the drafty room while snow storms swirled in winter. The window are rippled with age and you can imagine how the children must have seen horse drawn carriages and people on horseback traveling down the street. The small gift counter is interesting and this Virginia City attraction is one not to be missed! If you are in to motorcycles, visit Virgina City on April 27 & 28, 2013 for the annual VC Gran Prix Race sponsored by Red Bull!!!
