Full house on Saturday of Thanksgiving week. Alex left everyone with the question,"How did he do that?" on their lips. Quite amazing!

“Great family show!”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

Alex and the beautiful Meghan put on a fantastic show tonight. Alex is captivating and entertaining keeping the show fast pace.He also engages the crowd in a humorous and playful fashion making this a joy for all ages.Alex and Meghan took time out after the show to speak to people as they came out of the theater, sign autographs and pose for pictures. They are truly humble people. If you get a chance, don't miss this show it was a super entertaining two hours and a great value for the money.

“Excellent Show”

Family Friendly, Kept your attention and get your ticket earily, Harvey's had told us don't worry but they were sold out and we lucked out and bought them from a man who's wife had gotten sick.

“Excellent Magic Show in Tahoe - even in slow season!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

If you're a fan of magic shows and happen to be in the South Lake Tahoe area, give this fine show a look.

As Las Vegas residents, we are somewhat worn out on magic shows: nothing new under the sun, basically, and we've pretty much seen the full array of shows in Vegas. Some of the performers in Las Vegas seem to be bored with the proceedings, particularly if the audience is small.

However, we were recently staying in South Lake Tahoe and had a free evening. The front desk at the resort suggested Alex Ramon's Illusion Fusion at the nearby Horizon Casino just across the line in Stateline, Nevada. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a shot, particularly with the discount offered at our resort for the show.

This was a Thursday night at the end of October, Tahoe's "shoulder" season after the summer lake crowds and before the ski season, when many of the attractions are already closed for the winter or have not yet opened for the ski tourists.

Thus, we were not surprised that the showroom was only about half full and we were wary that the efforts onstage would reflect the sparse crowd, as so often happens in Vegas.

Boy, were we wrong: Mr. Ramon and his beautiful assistant, Megan, treated the small crowd as if it were SRO. Both performers were very professional and upbeat. Mr. Ramon involved the audience early and often, with his great sense of humor and interesting sleights of hand.

I cannot say the tricks were shockingly original, but they were performed with great fanfare and professionalism. We were very impressed with both Mr. Ramon and Megan.

This show has been in other venues, including the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Frankly, the show seems almost too good for Stateline, Nevada, and, given the skills and attractiveness of Mr. Ramon and Megan, I wouldn't be surprised to see them down here in Las Vegas at some point.

Well worth the reasonable price.

The show is appropriate for school-age children and above, in my opinion: no foul language or excessively racy remarks. The beautiful Megan's attire was very attractive, but in no way overly revealing as you might expect in Vegas.
