Description: We did it. We redefined classic pub fare with an ambitious menu of our own, served it up with a side of lake views from our sun-drenched deck and topped it off with the lake's most iconic mojito. Brooks' Bar & Deck has taken its place as the premier post-play watering hole in the State of Nevada. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy. Brooks' was recently selected by the editors of Golf Digest as one of the "Best Golf Pubs," joining an additional 10 other pubs worldwide in famous golfing locations including Pebble Beach, California; Pinehurst, North Carolina; St. Andrews, Scotland; and Doonberg, Ireland. With the majestic snow-capped Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the heavenly postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located right off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home to one of the greatest sunsets of the world, and it happens daily! Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar designed by Frank Gehry: sweeping vaulted ceilings, walls of glass windows, a handsome wooden build. Yet the beautiful architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. With multiple flatscreen TVs tuned to the biggest games of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews and a variety of signature cocktails. Casual dining fare, deluxe appetizers and entrees, and sophisticated comfort food all put Brooks' at the top of its class.

It doesn't get much better than Brooks' Bar and Grill.
Drive through the trees for an amazing retreat situated on the South shore of Lake Tahoe.
Casual dining at the bar, no membership necessary to enjoy the grilled Salmon Sandwich with caper dill aioli. The Fried Calamari appetizer was a meal in itself with fried Artichoke Hearts and Green Beans. Add a pitcher of Marti's Mojito and enjoy the sunset from the heated deck... just watch the trees when you drive out.
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Brooks' twice in a three night stay at the close by Alpenrose Inn. Big screen TV's through out the bar, sports and more sports, but not overpowering.

We had lunch here; it has a great view of the lake. We sat outside which was very nice, the service was good and the food was also good. Although the kitchen did make a couple of mistakes on our order but they fixed them quickly.

Spent the evening with friends on the deck at Brook's Bar. We came for dinner and a sunset, it was a hit on both accounts! The menu is not large but has a nice selection ranging from fish to tacos to a prime rib Fench Dip. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal, they arrived hot and had great flavor. All of this while overlooking the 18th hole on the shore of Lake Tahoe. The setting is casual with no reservations required. This is a keeper!

The setting is just incredibly beautiful, all the rest is the cherry on top. We enjoyed exquisite service, delicious food, the highlight was the fresh baked bread. It is hard not to have a good time here. Great spot for a wedding or special event. One of those places you can't recall without saying ahhhhh
