Description: We did it. We redefined classic pub fare with an ambitious menu of our own, served it up with a side of lake views from our sun-drenched deck and topped it off with the lake's most iconic mojito. Brooks' Bar & Deck has taken its place as the premier post-play watering hole in the State of Nevada. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy. Brooks' was recently selected by the editors of Golf Digest as one of the "Best Golf Pubs," joining an additional 10 other pubs worldwide in famous golfing locations including Pebble Beach, California; Pinehurst, North Carolina; St. Andrews, Scotland; and Doonberg, Ireland. With the majestic snow-capped Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the heavenly postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located right off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home to one of the greatest sunsets of the world, and it happens daily! Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar designed by Frank Gehry: sweeping vaulted ceilings, walls of glass windows, a handsome wooden build. Yet the beautiful architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. With multiple flatscreen TVs tuned to the biggest games of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews and a variety of signature cocktails. Casual dining fare, deluxe appetizers and entrees, and sophisticated comfort food all put Brooks' at the top of its class.

“Beautiful, Lake Tahoe location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Very beautiful restaurant with an incredible view of Lake Tahoe and the mountains. Our dinner was good but not great. We had the corn soup special that sounded soooo good, but it was less than average, basically puréed corn with little taste. My filet was again-average. My friend had the lamb chop that he said was pretty good. The service was better than the meal, but a little slow due to the number of tables our waiter was responsible for. Overall, it was pleasant with a GREAT view.

“Edgewood Restaurant was amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

I went to Edgewood with my boyfriend to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was an amazing experience. Our server was Josh, and he was wonderful. He checked on us just the right amount. He spent time with us going over any questions we had about the menu. We didn't get any drinks with dinner, but I got the organic chicken, and they happily switched the sides for me because I wanted the side that came with the pork. My meal was amazing. My boyfriend got the catch of the day, which happened to be Halibut and he loved it. We had an artichoke appetizer and a coffee flavored creme brulee for dessert. It was expensive ($89), but you are paying for the experience and location. It's right on the lake and it's absolutely beautiful. I hope to go back to Lake Tahoe again so I can revisit Edgewood!

“Brooks is fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I would have never thought to go to a bar & grill at a golf course, but our hotel recommended it. The outdoor seating had beautiful views of the course and lake where we watch the sun set over the lake and mountains. The food was the biggest surprise. The mine looks fairly standard with apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches and other items. We ordered fish and chicken tacos which were outstanding as was our appetizer. This is a first class operation and highly recommend it.
