Fresh and delicious food, good service, great views of the lake. The sun was so bright, wore sunglasses and it didn't help, so propped up menu to block the rays, then saw a pretty sunset while dining.

Like your steak with chewability? How about some soggy shrimp and weird crab meat in a signature salad called Snoopy's. Or, if you really want to get riled up, check the price on your gin martini...mine was only $11.00 for an average pour. The one constant in this room is the view--a setting sun behind this magnificent lake is sufficient to lighten the burden of mediocre food and sky-high drink prices. If there is a better view of Lake Tahoe at night, I know not where it is! And, I'll let you in on a secret, sit at the bar and order the Feuilette of Wild Mushrooms appetizer or the French Onion Soup and you'll not leave with an appetite, plus saving yourself a whole lot of money. So, by all means go to Friday's Station and grab two stools for you and your honey, watch the sun go down, pay your bill (About $50 with tip), then go downstairs to Fatburger for your late evening hunger pangs. It's the best meal in Harrah's.

We made reservations here on July 4th to watch the fireworks. The view is spectacular! However, our service and food were not great. We were rushed to make drink and food decisions and our waitress did not tell us the reason was because they turned out the lights and basically stopped running when the fireworks were going. This would have been fine but we were given no explanation. The Chilean Sea Bass was fishy smelling and not cooked great. The Ahi was tough and lacked flavor. The best part of the meal was the watermelon salad. We don't mind spending money on meals but this was one that did not meet our expectations.

The view is lovely, the service is attentive, and the food follows a classic steakhouse theme. Escargot, onion soup, and fine steaks are always in fashion when they are done well and these were.

The view on the 18th floor was breathtaking as all of Lake Tahoe was before us. The food (we shared the small prime rib and could barely eat it all) was outstanding as was Micheal our server. If your in Tahoe you ought to take time to visit this one.
