If you stay here,do not stay next to the highway. Very noisy, even all night. Loud trucks. Wifi sucks. Cigarette buts all over the ground. Cheap,$38 a night 30amp is more like 20amp. The lady manager is very nice. She made the stay worth it.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff and were escorted to our site. All pull thru sites are cement pads with grass between sites. We spent 2 nights and spent a whole day in Virginia City and Reno.

I'm really upset at the moment. Been here many times before and told friends to stop here in the past. So we made a reservation. Pulled in about 3:00 PM. The office was closed but had a sign assigning us to space 124. Pulled in and set up. Spent 1/2 an hour trying to get cable working. No luck. Went to the office and paid up. Asked about the cable. Oh, you are in the part here it does not always work. Had a problem for two weeks now.
What the heck! Didn't tell us that when we made the reservation! Two weeks! How about fixing it. No discount for your failing to disclose a lack of service? I think this is what's called bait and switch. I will never come back here again. Dishonesty is something I hate. Is Hillary Clinton running this place? I hope they choke on the dishonest money they made from me.

This RV park is actually located in Fernley, NV, super easy off and on interstate travel. Immaculate clean, level concrete pads and great price! The manager Trisha could not be more kind or helpful. Free coffee, homemade sweets and fresh fruit on offer, along with a book and DVD exchange. Although only stayed the one night we met lots of other campers and residents as some do stay here extended time. Excellent WIFI connection and sparkly clean restrooms. Would definitely recommend and we do plan to stay here again! So happy we found this RV park!!!

Desert Rose is the perfect stop over if you are going east / west, or heading to or from Burning Man. Pet friendly place. The restrooms and showers and laundry facilities are clean, the hookups in great shape, they have many pull through sites, you can get propane and clean up nicely. They are the nicest people managing the park too. Little patches of grass between the parking slots, and nice trees give a little shade. You can't go wrong when stopping here. There are no recreational facilities, but you can find everything you need in Fernley - decent food, a Wal-Mart, a better local grocery, and a great hardware place called Big R, as well as a Lowe's.

Room Tip: No rooms; it is an RV Park.
