A very nice place to stay, especially if you have young children.
The children's play area is a great place for the kids to have fun.
It was nice to see live entertainment now being offered again. I really enjoyed the music while playing video poker at the new lounge/bar area.

Since I drive Truck OTR Boomtown is the ideal place to stop. I drive with my wife and daughter on board and we love the arcade. The sports book has been updated and the restaurants prepare some really good meals. The casino has been updated also and provides enough gaming action for my tastes. Only drawback was that the room we had was old and smelled like 1975. Next time I'll request a room in the newer section.

Ate at the Bistro several times and found the servers friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. The parking was convenient to the hotel. The casino floor was laid out so it didn't seem too crowded or closed-in. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed here many times in the past eight years as l travel through the area often. I have weatherd through the changes. I have to say l think this place is pretty dialed, many improvements. The biggest of course is moving on from Denny's. I actually bypassed this place many times because of the Denny's. Boomtown is a cozy place & clean. And it is an exceptional value. I would have given it 5 stars except, the one small thing is the 6$ resort fee? This small fee kind of bugs me. All in all great place!

This is the first time our room was less than great, the carpet was dirty, no bed spreads, no coffee & no ice bucket.

The first day when I called for coffee & an ice bucket, they brought it right up. When I had to call for coffee the second day, nobody ever brought any, & that's after calling 3 times.

This is our first stay since Boomtown is under new ownership, we hope it's not the norm now.
