It was a few dollars cheaper to book directly than by going online thru the usual websites (a bit unusual). They quoted me a decent price for weeks stay ($41.40 weeknights, $51.50 weekends after tax). The rooms were very nice, although the housekeeping had a couple flaws (forgot trash bags, everything not shiny, but thats no big deal). The good points and bad:

GOOD
Great value, close to town, and cheap
FREE internet (most hotels charge $10/day for spotty service)
friendly staff
Good rooms
74 channel expanded cable (but no HBO)

BAD
All smoking rooms face the interstate and are very noisy
not much for food nearby. prepare to drive a bit or get delivery

Check and recheck your bill. They tried to charge me weekend rates for sunday and monday, then tried to refund only 1 day while claiming it was a refund for both (and tried to confuse me when I brought it up). Also the real room price was dollar above what was quoted (nickel and dime stuff).

Provided you are ready for some noise and check your bill, this is a totally decent place to stay.

My friend and I was scheduled to arrived on the night of the 12th. But on the morning of the 12th, the brother of my best friend died in a car accident. Needless to say that we didn't make the trip. I called the hotel to cancel letting them know of the situation but they decided to charge my card for a nights stay anyway because it's "policy" to cancel 48 hours prior. My situation meant nothing to them and they just lost a frequent guest all because $89 dollars is more important to them now than multiples of that later. I will never stay again at any Days Inns or affiliates.

The place is a decent spot for a night's sleep when traveling. The cleanliness was acceptable, and we were not bothered by a bit of freeway noise.

Hey, it worked as far as a bed and a shower. Room was noisey, but we were in town for a concert and came in late/ left early. TV was broken and remote didn't work... Wireless is nice to have, but came in and out of working and was pretty slow. Service was kinda lame... when we arrived to check in the host was outside having a cigarette which they put out to come in and check us in. But since all we really we looking for was a safe place to sleep, it was fine.

All in all this was a good value for the price paid. We had two rooms and were satisfied.

Positives
- Rooms were very clean
- Nice outdoor swimming pool
- Close to the freeway
- Close to eating establishments
- Close to gas stations
- Excellent free WiFi
- Four story structure that had an elevator.

Negatives
- Continental breakfast was nothing special
- Freeway noise was louder than I would have liked
- Ice machine on our floor had been removed.

Half of the rooms are right on the freeway and there is no way it is quiet enough to sleep! I complained and obviously they hear this A LOT. They said you have to complain within the 1st 10 minutes or something. THe only recourse for me was to pay $10 for another room. I thought that really sucked.
There are lots of cheap, old hotels in downtown Reno. Find another one!

This hotel is right on the freeway. It is horrible. You have to yell outside and the traffic never stops at night, you can here it very clearly in your room. The free breakfast is a danish and coffee. I would never say here again.
