“Right Price”

For the price I paid I don't expect a five star hotel. I do however expect the room to be clean and presentable. That is what I get all the times I have stayed in this hotel. I only need a place to shower and sleep as I am out most of the day golfing. Circus Circus meets my needs. It is the RIGHT HOTEL and the RIGHT PRICE for me.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The room this time had a better view, but was not very clean and was not as updated as my previous room. There was always some trash in the hallway which could have been picked up by the floor staff.

Have been staying at the Circus Circus for years. Great place to stay. The only thing missing is live Keno. The staff at the cashiers, the Club one staff are great. The cocktail waitress are super. The rooms in both the Sky tower and the Casino Tower are great with all the amenities that you need. If you need a wake up call they will do it. The parking & valet service are super. The people at the front desk are also great. We have been staying there for a long time by either driving down or going down by bus. We have always been treated with respect by the staff that we know and the people who are customers that stay at the hotel. I would recommend the Circus Circus to any one who wants to stay there.

Room Tip: Only thing the Circus Circus does not have is live Keno. You will have to go to the Silver Legacy

Convenient accommodations for families! Arcade, dining choices, access via sky bridge to nearby casinos and dining. Not great access for disabled unless you stay in north tower, although there is a sky shuttle available from one tower to the next.

Room Tip: Pick north tower

The only reason I did not give my rating as Excellent is because nothing this side of Heaven is Excellent. So "Very Good" is as good as it gets "here". One drawback was the amount of stairs we needed to navigate with our luggage to and from our room. We managed and it was actually fun watching my granddaughters pull their suitcases, and carry their "winnings" i.e. stuffed toys, to the lobby.

I paid $20 extra for a premium “deluxe” room, which wasn't very deluxe. I guess their non-deluxe rooms must be pretty bad. Then, they slap a “Resort Fee” of $6.80 on you, which includes free parking, free local phone calls, and free Wi-Fi internet access. The Wi-Fi access is REALLY, REALLY slow (like 0.06 mbps) but for another $2 they will upgrade you to speeds “up to” 1.5 mbps (which is pretty slow in my book). In the end it didn't make much difference because the Wi-Fi kept going down. It was just as bad the next morning.

This place shows it age, but for some reason they keep packing them in. Probably because it is more of a playground for kids than adults. They seem to have as much fun running up and down the halls of the hotel as they do in the Arcade area. If you're not traveling with kids, go someplace else. Also, don't stay here if internet access is important to you.

They advertise $39 rooms, which are about a block away from the Casino. The $59 deluxe room above the Casino ends up costing $75 by the time you pay the taxes and fees. That's mid-week. They really jack up the prices on the weekend. But hey, whatever the market will bear. If they can get away with charging that much, more power to them.

Room Tip: If you're not traveling with rambunctious children, stay someplace else.

hotel was clean, but not very inexpensive....for the price i expect more. and after the amount that i thought i was getting hotel for, i had to pay an extra $17+ they say they have free parking but this 17 is something about parking, even though i carpooled, and we had two rooms.....still had to pay the extra.
air conditioner turns off when you are not in the room....that sucks...it was hot.....and it re-sets during the night so if you want the fan running, it turns off....
food prices in hotel were not a very good deal....food was only average....beer was way expensive....for a casino....i will not go back.

Room Tip: might as well stay at a cheap hotel...and eat at restaurants....
