“Outstanding and a new favorite!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Love Love Love!! We just moved to Reno a couple months ago and have been very impressed with the many choices of great eateries. However last night we found our favorite place at the Stone House Cafe.

It has a wonderful ambiance as it is smaller and more intimate. We loved the decor and the friendliness of the entire staff. We had a wonderful server who was able to make great recommendations from drinks to entrees! The food was incredibly fresh and came out very quickly.

We travel all over the world and the food stands up to some of the finest restaurants we have visited at half the costs. The prices were so reasonable!

Happy hour is 3-6 EVERY day which was impressive with the specials that they offered! Upon leaving two of the employees (possibly owners?) asked our names and seemed sincerely happy to meet us and happy that we had such a great experience.

Will definitely be eating there often and we cannot wait for the weather to heat up to enjoy the outdoor seating as it looks gorgeous! Make sure you give this place a chance you will love it!

“What a great find!”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

We found out of about this restaurant from a car saleman in Carson City. It doesn't seem to be found out by tourists.

Beautiful grounds, and the food is wonderful! Very reasonable prices. We loved it and took friends back the very next day.

Stephen our waiter was excellent and has a great personality.

“All good”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Love the menu at this place. My wife and the San Fran sandwich. She loved it! Had ahi and crab salad I think. Very tasty. I had the Rockefeller burger. Bacon, cooked spinach, Parmesan and pepper jack cheese, covered a hand made patty of perfectly cooked medium rare hamburger. All on a nicely baked bun. We started with homemade tortilla and guacamole. Finished with strawberry short cake and a hot lava cake with awesome truffle center. Good stuff. We sat outside and enjoyed a great meal in a garden like setting. Will be back to checkout the many other menu options that caught our eye!

“5 stars is not enough”
Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

The food here is outstanding and the wine list allows good choices for wine by the glass. I really like ahi tuna and had two ahi items both were excellent. My wife had one of the specials with scallops, sole, lobster and salmon. The special was outstanding and my wife said the sole may have been the best she has ever had. We had baked Brie and Gorgonzola for dessert and with the fresh fruit and espresso, this was truly outstanding
