One of the items I didn't expect to be delicious in the middle of the desert would have to be crab legs, but the ones at the Atlantis Casino buffet were fantastic! They offered 2 kinds, Dungeoness and King crab legs, unlimited amounts. The rest of the buffet was good, but these treats were the stars! The New England clam chowder was also excellent with tons of flavor. The items that I thought were mediocre: chicken potstickers, wonton soup, baked beans, nacho chips with guac and salsa. I liked the variety, and the salad bar was very fresh (although they only have romaine and iceburg lettuce. Somce spinach would be a nice addition). The setup was very nice, as the buffet flowed all along the back wall, making it far from a cafeteria style arrangement.
I wasn't in Reno long, but after coming back from a week of camping, I was ready to put some food away! This is a spot you'll hear most people recommend in Reno, and the prices were great. We went on a holiday weekend, and only spent roughly $25 a person. Cheers!
