Great small, local favorite! Breakfast is a must! Eggs Benedict and huevos ranchero are my favorite! Love the patio and friendly service!

“one of the best breakfasts in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

Pjs is always packed and usually loaded with longtime reno residents. Huge portions, great food and good bloody marys. Service has always been perfect. Admittedly,I've only eaten breakfast there but there are sooo many good restaurants in Reno it is significant that we eat at pjs more than any other restaurant.

“Love to go out for breakfast? Stop here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I decided to flee the casinos and try some local restaurant for breakfast on our last trip to Reno. This place was pretty packed on a Monday morning...good sign! My husband ordered a Denver Omelet and I had a Bay Shrimp Omelet with a Sherry Cream Sauce. Both were amazing. We started with a hot coffee cake. Lordy, that tasted like all my best food memories! Don't go here if you are counting calories, just pull up a seat and enjoy!

“Always good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

We usually eat breakfast here at least once during week long horse shows in Reno, because one of us is crazy about the eggs Benedict with sherried hollandaise sauce. This time the waitress suggested substituting spicy sausage for the canadian bacon and that was a good idea! The portions are generous and the prices are commensurate with other restaurants. The only drawback is that in summer the outdoor seating area can heat up and the inside is frequently humid. Not enough to discourage our return visits.

“Good Local Breakfast and More!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

Still learning to eat where the locals go and seems like they're always right in this town. Found this place just a mile from my new job and decided to stop for breakfast. Ambience is casual but NOT a saloon as on the sign. Think upscale bar with much better seating and service.

Had the Western Omelet which had Swiss and cheddar cheese, ham, onions and green bell peppers. It was BIG and tasted good. Coffee was strong. It came with potatoes which I asked them to be well done so they were good and crispy and marble rye toast. Homemade salsa is on the table and went well with the eggs.

Had NO alcohol although I noted the breakfast Mimosas and Bacon Bloody Mary's were BIG! When I left, lunch was being served and the burgers and sandwiches looked enormous! Definitely coming back for lunch and / or dinner sometime.
