A great place for celebrating special occasions because of its quiet atmosphere and nice ambience. The staff were friendly and ever wiiling to assist when we require their assistance. My family ordered ala-carte dishes and all were served promptly and one of our family members could not finish her dish. It was taken care of right way without asking. Will certainly come back to dine on our next visit to Reno

The food here has always been good, the staff nice and the place itself is incredibly clean (even the bathrooms!). But it is almost always understaffed. We've been in there when it has been slow and we had to wait forever. And when it is busy, it is a long ordeal. Finally, it just wasn't worth it anymore.

I did like the chop salad and the brick chicken. Both were quite good. And given how Carino's is horrible and I won't frequent Olive Garden, the choice for chain Italian is slim here. It's sad, as we liked the place and the servers. It's just that they don't hire enough of them.

Our meal at Macaroni Grill was great. The waitress( from Moldovia) was very accommodating and even had to smoozie the bartender for us so that we could get the happy hour prices from the bar delivered to our table... Also we had a nice surprise from the executive chef Troy Crisco.... He came to the table to check on our meal.. What a guy.. so nice !!!!!!!
Its a must visit when in Reno.

While out shopping, we decided lunch couldn't wait until we got home, so we chose to stop in at Macaroni Grill. We don't eat there often, usually favoring something like El Pollo Loco. But it was the day before Mother's Day and I wanted to splurge a bit. My wife ordered a shrimp/pasta dish and I had the eggplant parmesan, both with salad before - and of course they gave us bread and dipping oil. It was all very good. The salad was crisp and cool, the main dishes were hot, as was the bread. And the service was very attentive without being intrusive. The only knock on the whole experience would have to be the plates the main dishes were served on - they were not warmed, and they cooled the food more than I would have liked.
