Bad reviews from so many.Spend the money and hire an experianced cook in this venue and give them an interest in growing the business .The chef must have a close association with the diners.

Went there with a group of six friends. Service was unimpressive. Nice college kid did not know the menu at all. We all knew German food ordered from menus. Food took forever, came cold and greasy for 5 out of 6..complained to waiter / he got the cook to come see us. "Mr bad attitude" came out/ not the bit apologetic... We asked for some after dinner drinks by name , were lied to that they didn't have what we asked for after we had seen it on back bar shelf. Altogether a horrible dining experience! Eat at one of the 200 other choices in Reno. This place is way past it's glory days!

My favorite local place for some goodies from Germany or DK. Haven't tried their pastries but they had a decent selection of canned and pickled fish.

We recently ate here and the food was very good and the prtions were very generous. The Jaegerschnitzel was delicious and the authentic german beers were great. We stopped into their next door backery and deli for some great apple strudel to take home.

Our association had decided to hold an evening dinner there. What a flaming disaster! Only one waitress trying in vain to bring out salads and food. Our group was nearly a hundred and was really disgusted by the inordinate wait times. Many of us went to the bar...oops. The bar didn't carry Scotch! The mixers were in old bottles that were flat. The kid attempting to be the bar tender didn't even know how to open a bottle of wine ..he rammed the corkscrew right through the foil top and destroyed the cork in his attempts to get it out. When the owner came back to the bar to see why 15-20 patrons were getting upset about the lousy service and lack of Scotch, the owner attempted to convince several of us that Jameson's is a Scotch....hmmmm. When dinner was finally served the Snitzel was hard, dry and cold. We all agreed to never return. Don't waste your time, money or aggregation on this place.
