Owner description: Greater Nevada Field opened in 2009 as the home to the Triple-A Reno Aces, top affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2017, the ballpark welcomed Reno 1868 FC, a professional USL soccer franchise and top affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes. The Aces and 1868 FC share the year round facility, which includes a haunted house in October, ice skating during the holidays, and dozens of community events through the year.

Before I start my own review, I want to correct something zack said. Parking at the hotel is not free unless a) you are staying there or b) u arrive at the parking garage before they start charging (usually 2 hours or an hour and a half before game time) if you do have to pay at the hotel it is not that bad ($10). The ballpark itself has a few main highlights. My favorite is the coors light super cold draft near the team store/ main gate. If you are going to drink a beer, get it from the super cold draft stand. Coors super cold draft keeps the beer 1 degree above the freezing temp of beer for literally the coldest beer u have ever tasted. The bubbles will feel like icicles. On the 1st base side there is a stand selling “envy dogs" they are $9 and well over a foot long. The triple play is available at the snack bar on the 3rd bas side and is $15, I didnt try it but it looked good. the snack bar near the general admission grass serves a nacho hotdog, a frito pie hotdog and a hotdog with bbq sauce and brisket on it. They are about a footlong and also $9. I went for the triple a allstar game and it was extremely packed and hard to navigate, but I assume a normal day would be much easier. The best part of the park is the 7th inning stretch, beats alot of major league teams.

Fun, new, well outfitted park. Good chance to see the major league players of tomorrow close up. On the same block in front of the park you can pay two different prices for parking. $11 and $13 I think? Any way the more expensive one is slightly closer. You can also park for free in the casinos and walk less than 5 min. Great for anyone. Near the outfield they often have specialty vendors selling good food and/or promotional discounted beer. The ballpark makes a signature sandwich with meat balls stuck on the top. When you see it, you will know what I'm talking about. Don't order this sandwich. It is overpriced and just OK. Worst of all though, it takes them 10-15 min to create this "masterpiece", and all the while you are supposed to stand there with a sign that advertises the fact that you were brave enough to order the stupid sandwich. This will make you look stupid too. You will be angry because you are not watching baseball, and because you look stupid with you sign. When you are angry, you drink expensive beer. When you drink expensive beer, you can't afford afford expensive beer later (it is only the second inning after all) Don't be beerless after the stretch, and skip the stupid sandwich.

I had a great steak sandwich. Of course had to have cotton candy.
The gin and tonic was made superbly. A great day at the Aces.
