My son and I spent the night in Reno on the way to retrieve my daughter from college in California. We enjoy bowling together, so the bowling stadium was a must see on our trip. We didn't look into whether we could just walk in and bowl a game or not. Slightly disappointed, we sat and watched, after a couple hours realized we lost track of time. Totally cool venue to watch bowling if you are into it.

Awesome Stadium! A little old school, but had a great time with family & friends! The staff were friendly & helpful... the building was clean. Food concessions were great too!

We participated in the 110th National Open Bowling Tournament and expected some better remodeling as advertised. Disappointed the seating and lockers for the bowlers were not upgraded. The downstairs bowling lanes and area looked like the only thing that was remodeled and it is nice.

This was our third trip to Reno for the USBC Open Championships in the past four years (2010, 2011, & 2013) and we have enjoyed the venue very much. Since 2011 there have been a few upgrades, including the addition of 12 lanes on the bottom floor. We (two teams) were able to take advantage of renting the lanes before our team event to give us the opportunity to practice on the open shot. Believe me, it was well worth it and highly recommended.

The main lanes are on the fourth floor which are accessible by escalator (from the bottom floor) or by elevator, which can be accessed either at the bottom or from the parking garage. Also on the fourth floor is the largest pro shop I've ever been in. Believe me if they don't have it, you don't need it. There is a small snack shop as well which is a bit pricey but actually pretty good. Alcohol can be purchased on site as well. One other benefit here, there are many lockers that you can rent for a small charge to store your equipment so that you don't have to drag it back-&-forth from the hotel.

Overall an awesome place to bowl.
