Great atmosphere. Had a really nice breakfast here. In the centre of town. Would check out rates and maybe stay here next visit.

A craps star, meaning that it was a great place to play craps. The table staff was friendly and helpful. The minimums were very attractive and the service was attentive and seemed to enjoy its patrons success.

The most tables, but wished they had more tournaments, only 2 per day. 1 in morning & 1 in early evening.

Like most of downtown Reno, this casino is best described as a worn out relic of the past. Burnt out lights outside and peeling paint. Needs a major renovation. About a fourth of the storefronts and casinos downtown are closed and empty. The area is not far from being a slum. We ate at the buffet in the El Dorado. It is greatly overpriced ($25) for poor quality food. We tried a number of items and they were all pretty bad. To be fair, the salmon was at least edible which I can't say about the other items. Most were cold and of low quality. Not sure how they managed to do a bad baked potato but they did. Even the salad bar only had two kinds of lettuce that was mostly wilted. The casino looks old and dark and reminds one of the roadside casinos out in the hinterlands of Nevada. Go to Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe.
