Midtown is a hip little joint in a great midtown Reno location. My wife and I were greeted by a friendly waitress. The service was good and fast. I had the pork belly sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I have ever had! The sandwich was one of the best I have ever had! My wife had a falafel sandwich and she said it was "delicious". Ambience was hip and stylish. The place has a bar and the prices were reasonable. It is definately worth the visit when in Reno.

Nice small restaurant, amazing gin sling cocktail! Menu is little limited but great quality of food. Good atmosphere. If there is a wait before a table, put your name in and go to the public house for a drink!

Had lunch there for the first time today. Ordered a drink called the "dark and stormy" and was it ever good! Had to have another!! Ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with brie and apples. It was a disappointment since I expected it to be served on a baguette with maybe a little drizzle of honey or balsamic vinegar. Instead it was on this thick, tasteless white bread and the apple was sliced super thin. Skip this sandwich....not good. My friends had the portabello burger and pulled pork sandwich. Both were quite good. Also had a side of macaroni and cheese which was very bland and average at best. I will definitely return for the drink alone and order something other than the cheese sandwich and macaroni and cheese.

I had dinner at the Midtown Eats while visiting Reno for business.
The Cocktails menu is extensive and unique. I had four different cocktails and they were all great and beautifully prepared. Food is also good. you have everything from pasta to meat and fish.
But most of all I was impressed with the friendly service, specially the owner who is also the barman. a great spot in not so great city.

Been here for breakfast and for dinner. The bacon benedict was good, the potato side average. At dinner, I had the mushroom soup--great, and the porkbelly with apple gratin--ok. I saw a lot of people eating the hamburger--I haven't tried it. Very noisy and crowded--don't go here and expect to have much of a conversation with others. The other reviews I read of this place may have overbuilt my expectations. A nice neighborhood place, but not worth a special trip in my opinion.
