We stayed in this hotel during our move across the country. This hotel had 2 good things going for it...pet-friendly (which is why we were forced to stay here) and a cheap price. We got a 1-bedroom suite for $100. But overall, this hotel was pretty bad. The suite looked like what might have been a decent room in the 80s. Many electric outlets and lights not working, kinda smelly. Hotel staff wasn't pleasant. The location, though near downtown, was in a shady area. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the Ramada Reno Hotel and Casino. I am very sorry that your experience fell short of what we normally provide. Please be assured the appropriate training has been provided to ensure the challenges you experienced during your stay do not re-occur. Should you be in our area again I hope you will give us another opportunity. I am confident we will exceed your expectations.
We came just for one night as a stop over. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. They let us check in before 3 and explained directions well. They asked if we wanted an upper floor or not. We had two queens, three adults. The room itself is small. The bathroom is quite spacious in comparison. There is no refrigerator and we could not locate the channel guide. The view of downtown Reno was nice. It was a clean and comfortable room. Not a lot of amenities but the price is right. Also, the maids need to sweep under the beds. Ours was a bit messy. My son enjoyed the casino. WiFi wasn't working but that did not effect us. We liked it is away from downtown. We will stay here again.
I appreciate that you took the time to post your review of the Ramada Reno Hotel and Casino. I am pleased that the staff made a positive impression. I am hopeful you will give us another opportunity in the future. I am confident we will exceed your expectations.
We came for 4th of July weekend and were very impressed. The price of the room was very reasonable especially considering the prices of other hotels in the area. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty dead and its not extremely close to the strip. There is however a free shuttle that runs downtown 24 hours. The mack suite is an amazing room and is the size of an apartment. It has a fridge, microwave and a living room/dining area that is separate from the bedroom. One of the 2 sofas pulls out into a queen size bed as well. The room takes up almost the entire west side of the14th floor. We were able to see the reno aces stadium and downtown reno. There are 3 a/c units in the suite but late afternoons were still warm due to the 100+ temps outside. I would stay here again, the mack suite felt like a home away from home, not a hotel room.
Wow! This is a great review and we really appreciate the time you spent to do it. All the best!
