“Pleasantly Pleased”

Not liking the crowds and parking hassle on the strip, my husband and I chose the Ramada. From arriving to departure, we enjoyed our stay. The ground level parking is convenient (glad to avoid the multi-level parking of many large hotels). At check in, the front desk folks were friendly, helpful, and quick. The upgraded room's ambience was inviting; the bed and pillows were very comfortable; and the amenities and large windows gave a panoramic view of the mountains. We could see our car from our window, which was comforting. We were able to print out directions and maps for the rest of our trip in the hotel's spacious lobby's business desk. Some group were holding their conventions at the Ramada, and they said the sales and service staff ware excellent in helping them make their stay comfortable and convenient. Some even mentioned the breakfasts were better than other hotels they've stayed at. So if you want a 4-star experience at 2-star costs, the Ramada is your best choice for couples, families, or group gatherings and/or conventions. We'd gladly stay again.

Room Tip: Request top floor rooms for the view.

This hotel was okay - the rooms were fine, everything worked, rooms were quiet, the front desk people were awesome, the view from my room was fantastic! The location was good for me (we were at the livestock pavillion). Some things just missed the mark from making it a great hotel - parking was barely adequate, the elevators took forever to come to a floor, the room furnishing were a little dated, the casino clientele were not exactly high-class.

Would I stay there again? Sure, but I might look for something a little nicer.

Worst experience! Toilet over flowed had to change room that was not cleaned. The front desk was rude and the total opposite of helpful. The location is scary and the casino is full of street people.

Stayed here on company business, wasn't able to choose the hotel but was pleasantly surprised, the rooms were pretty clean and the front desk people were very friendly, especially Carl and the shuttle drivers, would recommend for a moderately priced hotel in the area.

This was our third time staying at the Remada. The rooms are always clean. The staff are always helpful. We like the $2 blackjack tables and the dealers are friendly and like to joke around with us. It is a 10 min walk to the Livestock center. Lots of parking. Not the nicest hotel by any means but comfortable and convenient. Quick cab ride to any of the other casinos...

Room Tip: If the Street Vibrations is on, there are no quiet rooms...also a train goes by in the middle of the...

We decided to go to Reno and knew we probably get something over-priced and maybe not to good. The price was a bit higher than our first choice, but they included 4 breakfast buffets. The buffet was good with hot oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, cold cereal, etc. etc. The room was quiet and we had a great view of the Reno skyline. If we decided to stay in we could have probably seen the fireworks from our window. Staff was friendly and maid immediately came up with the extra towels we had requested. We were very satisfied with the stay. We don't gamble - so no comment on casino.

Room Tip: Get a room that faces west for a view of Reno skyline.
