We stayed for 2 nights in a large lovely king bed suite. There was a large jacuzzi in the living area as well as a steam shower in the bathroom. The employees couldn't be nicer. There is a large selection of restaurants and we especially liked Chi for the Asian food. The coffee shop is actually very good with a huge menu. If you like gaming there is a large casino and sports book. If you fly to Reno they have a free shuttle to take you to the hotel.

Room Tip: Room 1039 in the Peppermill Tower was great. Close to the elevator but not too close

Peppermill Resort and Casino is the only place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and roomy. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food in all the restaurants are tops, haven't had a bad meal yet, and we've been visiting Peppermill 12 years now. We have many friends that visit Peppermill and they all say they feel safe gambling late into the nite. I know it's they only place we will stay.

Room Tip: Try staying on higher floors, they have beautiful views.

Highly recommend the Peppermill to anyone. The Tuscany Tower is the equivalent of a $300 room in another US city. In Europe this room would be $700 US a night minimum! All the bathrooms have an oversized Jacuzzi tub and enough room to have a party in. If you need to keep your budget in line, the Peppermill Tower is a great value also and the rooms are very comfortable. Also the Peppermill Tower rooms have recently been updated and no matter which tower you choose they are all relaxing. DO NOT CHOOSE THE OLD MOTOR INN SECTION! You will hate these rooms. They are a long walk to get to and your view could be of the trash in which the front desk will fail to mention this fact.
For restaurants, try Biscotti's or the coffee shop, both very good. The buffet is good but not the best I have ever been to. For bars, the Fireside Lounge is the absolute best in the evening. Period!
THE BAD AT THE HOTEL: The front desk is a hit or miss on service. Some times you get someone who is trained properly and sometimes not. The problem is you are in Reno!!! and they don't understand how good service actually works. The good news is they have been working on it but it has taken years and years to fix the key missing link, the front desk bad service and they still have a long way to go to. Otherwise, love the Peppermill.

Room Tip: Do not under any circumstances choose the old motor inn rooms. They are a loooooong walk to the casino or anything in the hotel and the view could be of the trash.

Short weekend stay in Reno. Peppermill at first impression the sign on the exterior appears to be a bit outdated. Checkin/registration could have gone a tad bit smoother because our room wasn't ready at 3:00pm as originally planned. The suite that we got faced the pool, great view and jacuzzi tub in the room was a nice touch. Shower had a built in steamer and the bathroom was clean. So far this has been a great experience...

No freebees here from the hotel staff :-(
